NOTICE OF PRELIMINARY
BUDGET HEARING FOR THE

2024 FISCAL YEAR

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the preliminary budget for the Town of Lyme for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2024 has been completed and filed in the office of the Town Clerk at 12175, NYS RT 12E Chaumont, NY where it is available for inspection by any interested person during normal business hours, Monday thru Thursday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Further notice is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Lyme will meet and hold a Public Hearing thereon at the Municipal Office at 6:15 p.m. Thursday November 8, 2023 and that at such hearing any such person may be heard in favor of or against any item or against any item or items therein contained. Any other business that may come before the Board will follow. Pursuant to Section 112 of the Town Law the proposed salaries of the following Town Officers are hereby specified are as follows;


Supervisor $16,225

Deputy Supervisor $7,045
Councilman (3) $5,950

Town Justice (2) $11,983
Superintendent $70,322
Clerk $40,174
Tax Collector $6,907
